2009 veröffentlichte Bob Dylan "Christmas In The Heart". Während Dylans nostalgischem und zuweilen ironischem Album hierzulande größtenteils die Anerkennung versagt blieb, wusste man auch im Ausland nicht wirklich etwas damit anzufangen.
Unnötig zu erwähnen, dass "His Bobness" sogar mit dieser Platte nicht nur seine eigenen Ausfälle in den 1980ern entgültig vergessen ließ, sondern auch das vermutlich beste Weihnachstalbum des neuen Jahrtausends produzierte.
Als Kostprobe empfehle ich den Polka-Stomper "Must Be Santa". In diesem Sinne:
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the poet laureate of rock 'n' roll. The voice of the promise of the 60's counterculture. The guy who forced folk into bed with rock. Who donned makeup in the 70's and disappeared into a haze of substance abuse. Who emerged to find Jesus.
